MATTER MATTERS!

Students discovered that objects are made up of matter and matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. Matter has physical properties we can describe. Some of these properties include how something looks, feels, sounds, tastes and smells. Students are observing everyday items and recording & comparing properties.

Fall Festivities

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! We have been getting our hands dirty learning all about the pumpkin life cycle. Our class has harvested two very large Dill Pumpkins in our very own School Garden. We plan to carve them next week and get them ready for display at the Halloween Parade. Our parade will be this Friday, October 30th at the end of the day. Please send your child with their costume in a bag. Watch and enjoy all the spooky students march down Main Street and join us for donuts and apple cider on the playground. We look forward to seeing you!
